Hi All,

We are interested in couple of new constructions in plymouth area. We like one plan which has three beds on upper level with finished basement with living room and one bed room with full bath. It suits our budget. Only thing is, my husband's friends are saying that resale point of view it's a no. As it has only three beds on upper level and one in basement. although it offers three car garage it's tandem. Can you please advise..

I don't see an issue with it. People often have an additional bedroom in the basement which they then use as a guest room, office or a private space for a teenager or older kid.

I've heard resale is better with three bedrooms on the upper floor rather than two but I don't know if that's actually true or not.
