I recently found out that my job is located in one of the offices at St. Paul's First National Building on Minnesota Street.

That is not north of I-94/Downtown. Does that change my commute from Stillwater all year long or is it about the same?

You should be ok. You won't have to go through the 52/35/94 weave and that's the important thing about easing a commute in St. Paul. Easiest commute would be from Inver Grove Heights though so look at that area. No where near as cute as Stillwater but easy, easy commute. Lots of rental options there as well.

Congrats on the new J-O-B. the First National Building is arguably our (St. Paul's) most famous property.

And no, that will not be a total hassle for you at all, IMO.
