Every night, every summer. It is one of my favorite sounds in the world. Feels like home to me. Love how it's simultaneously mysterious and peaceful.

I thought you may have meant humans who are referred to as Loons.

The answer is no, I do not think I have ever heard a Loon so I am sure I have never fallen asleep to the sounds of a Loon.

Yes, on a trip to the Adirondacks in NY state while staying in a cabin on a lake. A lone, mysterious sound that is somehow relaxing.

Yep. The massage therapist plays a recording of the loons followed by the sound of the waves crashing. Her goal is to get me to sleep so she doesn't have to give me as good of a massage.
