Hello Minnesota.....
My family (Husband and 2 children) are more than likely heading to the Twin Cities before the end of Summer; I am really hoping I can get some help with our move.
I have lived in Seattle all of my life but my husband is from Minnesota. While he never thought he would go back, the health of his Mom is most important right now.
She lives in St. Paul, and while I am very supportive of the move, I cannot do the city
. I have seen a lot of responses about Rosemount, Eagan, etc... and they too were on my "possilbe" list; but someone I know mentioned Hastings, can anyone provide information about that city?
My children are 10 and 12 and I need to keep my son's soccer "career"
in mind and my daughters gymnastics and cheerleading.
My husband is a painter (residential/commercial) so I have to wonder how the weather will/will not support his trade
Any feedback is appreciated!!!

Hastings was on our possible list as well. Hastings has a lot going for it, new high school, quite a bit of new construction yet there are a lot of older homes there that would need exterior painting probably more so then in Eagan/Rosemount but then again, INTERIOR painting might be in more demand in Eagan/Rosemount. Hastings is only 15 minutes from Rosemount so it would be easy to cover both areas.
