Some of us older, retired folks aren't used to seeing that.

Besides, the questions are about Minnesota, not Arizona.

The point is that drugs are everywhere in our society. It’s a shame but no place is immune, so why single out one town in Minnesota? Seems unfair to Fergus Falls. No place is like it was a long time ago.

Having spent so many summers in the area & then moving there from the cities after I first retired it was just a shock to me. I guess I didn't see it first hand before. I expected it in the city but not in small town Minnesota so much. I'd gotten to know a lot of the neighbors &/,or relatives of the kids affected & there were a lot of news articles. I was, & still am, shocked. Suppose I shouldn't be because you are right. It's everywhere.

If you like the lake life, Alexandria is an excellent choice. It's right off the freeway, so easy travel to and from the metro area and northern part of the state, it's big enough to offer some of the larger city benefits, yet small enough to provide the attraction of small town living with country life just a hop and a half away, no matter where in the city you live.
