I Came Across Something Very Strange On Google Maps. Near The Border Of Canada At The North East Most Tip Of Minnesota

The Coordinates Are 47.999016, -89.569161 (47°59'56.5"N 89°34'09.0"W). I'm Also Attaching A Screenshot Too. This Is Pretty Weird And I Just Want To Know If This Is A Error/Glitch Or Just A Forgotten Part Of Michigan.

It's not a forgotten part of Michigan. No other maps show that. Outside of maybe Apple Maps, Google Maps is the most sloppily drawn online map service. The errors are just endless. The only reason I even use Google Maps is because of the Streetview images, which most other maps don't have. But Google Maps is just bad. Don't take anything on Google Maps at face value with out verifying it with another map service.

I wouldn't hold your breath on a fix. They have had 16 years to work on it, and that is the best they have been able to do. There is an option on there to Report a Data Problem. But when I click it, all I get is an option to Add a Missing Place.

All of the state lines on Google Maps are completely messed up. There is a thread called Oddities of Geography in the General U.S. forum, where Google Map errors come up a lot. I posted this one there a while back. This is where Google Maps shows the Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming Tri-Point Marker. Notice that they pin it at two different locations. The top one is the correct location. Now look at where they put the state lines. Those lines should converge at the Tri-Point marker. They can't even get the locations for the corners of square states correct.
