I didnt think she would play well in Socialist MN, but she does understand winter sports so that may work with the locals.

I guess you could consider MN more socialist than other states in that we have higher taxes an better schools and services but every state displays some form of socialism that we are all happy to have. Are the roads we drive provided by a socialist system? The most conservative tea bag wing nut benifits from socialism to some extent.

I dont equate building roads to being socialist and won't hijack the thread to discuss. Palin is pro energy, while MN is not.

OK, if building roads is not socialist in your book, tell us what you think MN does that IS "socialist" (You're the one who brought it up!)

She's exploiting her fame to make money. She is not a real politician, that's why she most probably quit being a governor of Alaska. To exploit the exploit ables for money. The funny thing is, people are bitting hook line and sinker. I would not take her book "Going Rough," even if it was offered to me freely.
I heard on a news governor Pawlenty had 1% people favoring him verses Palin ~14%. I wonder what her next move is? She wouldn't stand a chance in the primaries.

The only good thing about her getting popular again is we may get more Tina Fay impressions.
Oh come on! Do you have ANY idea why she actually quit her job in Alaska? I mean, beyond what you read on the Daily Kos?

Personally, I don't think Palin is the "best man for the job," but these liberal talking points just make liberals look like idiots.

I'm pretty sure I know exactly why she quit her job, not that she ever really did her job after finding the spotlight via McCain. or before for that matter
Given the choice of sticking with a job you can't do in a state where the people are sick of you ...or taking the publisher's $1.5m down payment and running with it. Gee, hard decision for someone like Palin. not
