It probably doesn't help your survey but I don't really care for either.

I'm sure not and couldn't care less. I have nothing wrong with either from a business perspective, I actually have respect for their success...just don't care for the food.

You can do pretty good nutrition-wise at Wendy's. I have a baked potato with chili (they serve the low-fat kind) all the time when its cold out, and they have good salads but probably not the healthiest. Unfortunately I've been pigging on the Bacon Blue burgers lately (there's one near the office). McDonald's for breakfast - egg mcmuffin and just don't eat the yoke part and skip the hashbrowns.

Can't think of anything that won't kill you at Burger King.

Nothing at either Burger King or McDonald's will kill you if you don't eat such things to excess.

Last night I had a nice ribeye crusted with blue cheese, a hearty portion of mashed potatoes with abundant butter, and a martini. All three, harmful in excess but just fine in moderation.

Even water will kill you if you drink too much of it.

Exactly, thanks for posting this.

Fast Food places get waaay to much of a hard time than they should. Of course if you down a Super Jumbo Slop Bacon Burger with Jumbo Grease Ball Fries and Super Litre Cola you're going to gain weight. It's not healthy.

A simple cheeseburger with a salad or even small portions of fries won't hurt. And, people need to be accountable. If you ate Fast Food today, maybe go for a walk in the evening or go a few blocks further.

People just chow down jumbo meals and then go home and watch TV and expect to be super stars

1/3 of Americans are clinically obese and the number is increasing every year. I'd say our food offerings at local establishments are a definite contributor to this. Most of the time if you eat a value meal at Burger King or McDonalds for one of your meals it is likely you'll be consuming more calories than your body uses for that day...this, naturally, results in weight gain. Moderation is important but it is pretty hard for me to justify including Burger King meals in my daily diet to be anything besides detrimental. Junk food and empty calories are fairly worthless in my opinion.
