For MN if you want a top hockey school not in the cities, look at:

UMD
St. Cloud State
Mankato State
Bemidji State
Univ of North Dakota

(North Dakota is obviously in ND but it's right on the border of MN so I'm guessing it's fine for you. I actually think NoDak would be great for you as it's one of the premier college hockey programs in the country and a fine school.)

I am very interested in Kinesisology, major or minor in that.

any schools in the area have that?

would it be wise to move there?

My fiance has a bach. degree, and she's been at a bank for 2 years, a well known big bank too.

I don't want a big town enviroment, but something close to a good school, that would have some sort of prestige in the sports field, or therapy field

thanks a lot.

(I grew up in Indiana, and have live in KY, and TN the past 5 years.)
St. Paul has the most colleges for a city in the entire country (or at least per capita, can't remember which one). That's impressive, IMO.

You're forgetting Minnesota State University (Mankato). They have a D1 hockey program as well.

Mainly it would be the feel of the area (i'd have to visit it) and the education system/job oppurtunities.

I would love to get a degree in therapy or something and work for a hockey program (high school or college).

I'm just tired of this 90-95 degree humid heat in the summer. And I'm sick of people freaking out when we get 4 inches of snow here in TN. It's so stupid.

thanks
I have to point out: our summers are VERY humid and VERY warm. The winters are very cold.

I just saw that Mankato has an opening for a strength and conditioning coach.

He did say Mankato State, which is the older name of the same school.

It was more fun when they played Gustavus back in the old days, though. Nice rivalry between two good hockey schools 10 miles apart. Go Mavs!!
