Which one do you want? Desoto county or Colliervill/Bartlett? //www.city-data.com/forum/tenne...l#post15443690

Other than suburbs and good schools what else are you looking for?

In DeSoto County, Hernando would perfect. Suburban convenience, small town charm, and very much on the rise.

Another top school is neighboring Lewisburg schools, virtually brand new. There are some very nice subdivisions on the south side of College Rd (South of Olive Branch) that feed into Lewisburg school zone. DeSoto Central schools are the other top rated schools. In terms of test scores these three school zones, which border each other, are about even.

The other ones are pretty good too also though, including Olive Branch and Lake Cormorant, which is also brand new. Schooldigger.com provides excellent information on the schools with rankings, test scores, demographics, etc.

Have folks in Peachtree City....

Have two daughters that drive from Hernando to Memphis for work. Takes about 30 minutes for the one that works on Union Av. & about 20 minutes for the one on Democrat Rd.
Even to east Memphis is no more than 40 minutes unless there is a traffic jam.
