I need advice from people who have actually, successfully (but not necessarily properly) disposed of an refrigerator, dishwasher, recliner, dining room table and chairs (wood), crib, vacuum cleaner, etc. My garage is filling up and I literally don't know how to dispose of these things. I'm sure the trash men wouldn't touch them. Can anyone in Laurel tell me what precisely to do, or where these things can be taken and dumped? Please. It's been eating at me for years and now I'm at the point that I can't get around my own garage!

Call the city/county (whoever is oversees garbage pickup in your area) and ask about it. Many towns will pickup or accept this kind of stuff a couple times each year.
