Hi, my kid will start kindergarten here in Olive Branch in august. His school supply list is really long and looks expensive. Where can I go and buy this stuff as cheap as possible. Thanks.

Do you go to TN often? I ask because I think TN has a weekend when all school supplies are tax free. If you can find a cheap place (i.e. WalMart) and hit it on tax free weekend, that can really help.

I don't know of an all-in-one cheap place other than a WalMart type store. However, if you will read over your weekly newspaper fliers carefully, you will probably find discounted items every week in stores you pass or shop at already. Just an idea.

Good luck!

When I was a teacher , I would stock up during the back-to-school sales (is it that time already?) at Target. Absolutely the best quality and prices.

Check individual store websites for back to-school-sales. Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, Target, Walmart, etc. often have back-to-school promotions.
Sometimes you can get certain items very cheaply or even free--with a mail-in offer.

Dollar tree is an awesome spot to pick up school supplies. They have almost everything on my child's list.

Cool, do they sell Crayola? Because this school only wants crayola products!

Not sure about Crayola, I didn't pay attention. Crayola Crayons are pretty inexpensive at Wal-Mart though. Whatever you can get at Dollar tree, get it there and just get the rest at Wal Mart.
