so, i'm thinking about moving to greenwood. can anyone tell me about apartments there? any good ones? any to avoid? what about these out on hwy 82 called magnolia manor? i found out they are out by a nursing care facility, but are they rented to anyone or just seniors? i hear the downtown area is undergoing some sort of rejuvenation; so are there any loft-style apartments maybe in old buildings there? full of questions, i know. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gonna be tough finding any decent apartments. Might be able to find a loft downtown. Probably going to be easier to find a house. Call Bowie Realty and ask them. Good group, they'll point you in the right direction.

Trying to find good affordable apartments in Greenwood is difficult. The lofts you are thinking of are owned by Viking through the Alluvian they are very nice but can be pricey for the area that you are in. The rejuvenation has been going on downtown since Viking Corp. has been doing well this has been an ongoing project for almost 7-8 years. There are several realtors in the area but all of them have the same information it is a small town that has the same information throughout. Try also looking at the Greenwood Commonwealth, Greenwood Convention and Visitors and check with your employer they should be able to help in directing you in the right area. Good luck in your possible relocation.
