Looking at possible move to Hattiesburg or Purvis. Any information that someone could pass on about the bug situation in that area would be appreciated. I know there are bugs/insects along with the humidity. I grew up in South Carolina so I am familiar with this problem. Didn't know if there was basically a 3-4 month problem where bugs/mosquitoes were worse, and then it got a little better. Does commercial spraying help? Thanks for any information.

I've never lived in those area's, but I've lived all over the South. I wouldn't expect to have any more or less than most places. You will have mosquito's, use Deet. Roaches, keep a clean house. Fire ants, treat the mounds with fire ant poison.
