Hi! Has anybody lived at the employee residences at Parchman? What were they like? Did anybody raise kids on those residences? What was it like commuting to get groceries and supplies? How were the schools for the children?

And at Parchman what were your occupations? (prison guard, doctor, administrator, teacher at schools for prisoners, etc.) If you were a dependent, what did your relatives/guardians do?

i believe kids there go to school at Sunflower County schools, if so you WILL want to send them to a private school. the district is among the worst in the state as far as safety and quality of education, as are most public school districts here in the Delta.

The state report on the Drew School District says that Parchman is zoned to that district. http://www.osa.state.ms.us/documents...05/05sdrew.pdf (See page 12)

that is even worse, Drew is under state control due to being such a failure as a district.
