My wife would love to see Belikin beer sold in Mississippi. It is a good Belizean beer that is sold in a few select markets in the US.

If I want to raise my beer's alcoholic content, I just mix a little whiskey in it!

Cheers, CKB

For what it's worth, and this might have already been mentioned, I wouldn't expect a floodgate of rare craft beers to show up at your local convenience store. Stores sell what people buy, and not very many people in MS drink such beers. Of course, they don't drink them now because they can't buy them, but it's going to take a while for the market to build.

The only difference now is that some stores, mostly in urban areas, will start selling the nicer beers.

Exactly, the issue is high gravity beers, people seem to be confusing that with craft and microbrewery beers. One issue has nothing to do with the other. Some, not all and not even most, craft beers are high gravity beers. If their were a market for craft beers at 7/11, they would already be on the shelf.
That being said, buy them so the market exists and we see more on the shelf.

Nonsense.

Mississippi is surrounded by rare craft beer drinking states. especially in Memphis and New Orleans. We drive to those cities often to enjoy the two cities, their food and their beers.

If 7-11 brought in say a St.Pauli Girl, not a real heavy beer but it's not sold in Mississippi(that I know of), people would drink it up immediately.

Beer drinkers are not loyal..lol ...never have been. We are always into trying new suds.

Miller is in trouble...lol

There is a convenience store named "Andy's" across Fifth Avenue from Delta State University here in Cleveland that sells "craft" beers. FWIW, St. Pauli Girl is mass-produced. I've seen beers from Anchor Steam Brewery in Andy's. These beers are out of my price range. I live on a Steel Reserve budget!
