Because of a job, my husband and I may be moving to Union, MS. Can anyone shred any light on Union? We are from a large southern city in LA.

I'm not familiar where Union is, is this a town? Or are you talking about the county of Union?

Union is a very small rural town close to Philadelphia, MS. It is similar to pretty much any rural town in the South, with a town square with a basic grocery store and a courthouse, and a bypass with some newer chains. It is fairly close to Meridian, which has a lot more stuff (theater, chain shopping, etc.). Philadelphia also has more of your basic necessities including a wal-mart, a large casino and water park, etc., but isn't as big as Meridian.

I grew up in Union and now I am raising my children in Union. Union is small but has an awesome school system and most of the people are friendly.
