Yeah I've got a problem with people who aren't medical scientists or physicians who act like they are. That is you in spades. Then you are one of these guys who act like the government is source authority on everything. which scares me real good. You just want to beat up on fat people and be all smug. I don't think people need lectures from people like you and Michelle O about losing weight though.
I know you beating up on obese people hasn't prevented obesity. Why don't you go get a medical degree and then people will actually pay you for medical advice, rahter than you having to give out all this great knowledge on the internet for free to strangers who didn't ask for it?
I don't see how other people's weight problem is your concern anyway. Just typical busybody stuff, got your nose in other people's business. I don't think fat people in MS making it a horrible place to live for perfectly fit and perfect in general people like you, you Adonis you.
Why don't you go tell obese people to their face that they are obese and need to stop stuffing their face with food all the time? To me it is kind of cowardly to take to the internet and lecture people who most likely are not even obese about what a bunch of losers obese people are. This is obviously important to you so you need to talk to your target audience directly. Let them know you are an obesity expert...you are a Democrat and voted for Obama. lol
Obama can't even figure out that banning flights from countries with a lot of people dying from Ebola might be a good idea but he and his followers have a good handle on obesity and going to save us from it.
lol
Everything you just said was stupid and wrong.
A lot of other people being obese does effect me, it costs me more money for my own medical insurance (just like the shoplifter costs me more money at the department store) and ties up finite medical resources who have to deal with the growing obesity problem and it's attendant medical issues.
If you want to show me where I said obese people suck, where I lectured them, or where I called them losers, then by all means, do so. If you can't (and you can't, because I never did any of that) then stop being such a drama queen, you don't need to misrepresent what I say. If I wanted to hector or make fun of obese people, I'd do so, and nobody would need the likes of you to try and divine my intentions. What I have said and what I will continue to say is that obesity is a public health problem and that obese people are largely responsible for their obesity.
Your entire beef with the public officials' numbers is that you don't like them. You have nothing else, at all. Not liking them does not make them wrong and they're not part of some kind of conspiracy against A) obese people and/or B) the state of Mississippi (would the rest of us in the other parts of the country really need to conspire to take down Mississippi? Because I think it does a pretty good job on its own). It's not a conspiracy. Obesity costs the rest of us money (if you really want to argue against this, you're just embarrassing yourself, it's insurance 101) and uses resources that could be directed against other health problems.
So just stop already, you're making yourself look ridiculous.

Ok, I'm done talking to you. I can only talk to big governmnet guys for so long, then it gets tedious. I googled obesity and genetics and got a lot of hits for medical websites like WebMD. Your qualification to talk about obesity appears to be you support big government and think government people are the smartest among us. As I flushed out, the governmnet does not have hard data on what percentage of people are obese in a state yet you and others recite those obesity stats like they are gospel.
Obesity isn't a public health problem. It is a personal private health problem for the obese. I note you and other Democrats are not tlaking about other health problems, such as sickle cell amnenia or cancer or epilepsy or diabetes 24-7. You always about obesity. So yeah, I think you do have some personal disdain for fat people. Your interest in health problems seems to be limited to obesity. You have no proof obesity cost you money. Obesity isn't tied to most health conditions. Nothing to do with cancer, brain diseases like epilepsy, going deaf, etc. You can get diabetes, heart disease and sleep apnea without being obese. What costs is money is Democrats who want government involved in healthcare decisions that leads to us paying more for things. You basically just trying to use obese people as your excuse for jacking up people's rates and deductibles, and being all up in people's personal business and medical decisions. All busybodies think they are justified in their nose being where it doesn't belong. I try to stay in my lane, myself.
If it makes you happy to play medical expert on the internet, it can't be that bad. But don't get mad if somebody challenged you on your assertions. I don't think most physicians going to agree with you that obesity does not have a genetic component to it. I see skinny people put down some food and they don't ever get fat. Your view is extremely simplistic.

Right, because believing the government provides fairly accurate statistics makes me a "big government guy." You seem like the type of person that'll inject your right wing views into any discussion, no matter how tedious and dull-witted it makes you look.

Ah, but public health officials say different.

lol
No, I trust medical experts, that's why I hold my opinion, you disavow them and claim you know better. You're the one playing internet medical expert, not me.

That was funny.
Ok, public health experts say a lot of things. Doesn't mean they always right. I'm not the one playing expert on obesity on here and lecturing people about it and saying healthcare costs are high because of obesity, which is an absurd claim simply because most health conditions are result of genetics or just aging. Cancer doesn't have anything to do with obesity. Infectious diseases have nothing to do with obesity. Etc.
I'll see you over on the SC forum. I've seem to have found a new fan. You can lecture me about NFL fan bases again.

You have given no reason at all why you, with an ax to grind should be trusted over them. And the health insurance companies themselves agree, and they would be in a position to know the costs of obesity better than anyone, especially you. Most of the people with medical degrees (which you just chastised me for not having) agree with me. Most of the people who are in charge of paying for health care, agree with me. You have a conspiracy theory, congratulations.

lmao! You responded to me on the NFL thread, so you have it backwards.

You obviously followed me over to the SC forum. lol That isn't just a coincidence.
Obama ought to make you his Obesity Czar. You know some stuff. You have a degree in Obesity Studies.
Take off your tinfoil hat. If you have a problem, take it up with the mods. I commented on the SC forum, you responded to me.
lol
Weak, weak, weak.
No, I trust people who know some stuff, as opposed to you, who seems to have an ideological ax to grind.
lol, like you aren't ideological man. You about as liberal and partisan Democrat as they come. I don't run away from my convictions. Nothing wrong with ideology if you are right. I've refuted everything you've said. To argue that healthcare costs are just direct result of fat people is obviously a simpleton's type of argument. Lot more complex than that. Obesity isn't associated with most health issues, thus, it cannot be the main reason for healthcare costs. Just a logical proof.
lol, like you aren't ideological man. You about as liberal and partisan Democrat as they come, guy. I don't run away from my convictions. Nothing wrong with ideology if you are right.
But you're not right. And when your convictions are wrong (as they are in this case) you should abandon them, lest you look like an idiot.
lol
I'm not a partisan Democrat, at best, they are the lesser of evils, but I hardly tolerate them.

All you do is insult people. You aren't persuading anybody and obviously you aren't good at debate.
Lot of liberals run away from it. Get the courage of your convictions. You clearly love the Obamas. You won't go to jail for being a Democrat.
Anybody reading your commnets on here is going to think you are a Democrat. So if you aren't, you need to be more critical of Democrats. I have no desire to misrepresent your political views. I don't care what you believe on anything, to be honest. You just one person living in a red state.
