We've got The Delta, and Y'all have got East Kentucky. Obama did what he could to expedite East Kentucky's move to the "worst" category. Delta was destroyed before Obama became President, so he can't take credit for that.
But then, starting next year Kentucky is going to have the Senate Majority Leader. Maybe that'll help, even though it didn't help Nevada much when they had it.
And you have Rand Paul. Can't say I envy you much in that respect, but at least he's not Nancy Pelosi.

Eastern Kentucky is a mess, we have four of the top 10 poorest counties in the country. The poverty in this country is sad but at least I am not a homer about it.
