Some pictures I took at the Tupelo Baldcypress-Swamp, North of Madison on the Natchez Trace. I have never experienced a true swamp like this before. Enjoy!

There were bugs, but it wasn't overwhelming. My wife handled it fine and she's not a huge risk taker.

Mississippi pictures-017.jpg

These are my personal photos. Please do not copy or download. These were taken approximately the 15th of May. At this time, May 25th, the part of the coast that I visit at minimum every other day is fine-so far. I understand that people are more important than bird life and fish--I empathize with those who lost friends and family in the BP Disaster. Still, I hope we can all be spared additional losses.

Waiting for Oil Mitigation (positive thinking) is like waiting to find out the direction a hurricane will take and how much power it is expected to have when and if it hits.

If we're not allowed to copy or download your photos, all we can do is look at the thumbnails. You cannot view an image on a computer WITHOUT first "downloading" it! So why didn't you just post thumbnails?

I have some pictures I took of the construction going on downtown and all the new businesses opening up downtown. I will be posting those tomorrow. Poptones don't know if you are using IE or Mozilla however I can view his pics through Mozilla without downloading the pic at all.

No, you can't. If you can see the picture on your screen, you have downloaded it. The computer cannot display the picture without decoding it, and it has to HAVE the data in its local memory before it can do that. If the picture is on your screen, it's on your computer. You have "downloaded" it.

Then assist me in locating this pic because I cant seem to find it. If it's in my temp internet files those are deleted every week anyway so it will be gone. However, when I click on any pics through Mozilla, it does not give me the open to download it first ... each pic increases to it's original size.
