The black-robed mafia will see to it. Over 50 years of proof.

Why have multiple threads when you can combine them into one?

Mississippi governor signs church gun law - CBS News

Quote:
Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant has signed into law a bill that allows some members of churches to undergo firearms training so they can provide armed security for their congregations.

The Church Protection Act specifies that those designated can carry guns into church buildings. It also allows people to carry holstered weapons without a permit.

I assume everyone on here who opposes the bill has left the church of their upbringing. Or has your church changed with the Spirit of the times? And no, opposing same-sex pseudomarriage is not the same as opposing racial integration or interracial marriage.

a lot of people have not read the bill, all it says is, the state government will not sue, the public can still sue in civil court but they have to pay the bills

And what are the chances of winning a case where no law was broken? There are no laws against discrimination in MS.

Yes, it is. The same arguments were used, including the Bible, and more people opposed interracial marriage in a time when more Americans identified as Christian than do same-sex marriage today.

Most people in Mississippi aren't educated or intelligent enough to even know what the Bible really says. They just re-spew whatever nonsense their pastor tells them.

I was told very vividly in my youth that The Bible specially said interracial marriage was against the word of God. The Bible was used widely to support people's views who supported segregation and who were also against interracial marriage.
