Since you had to go and define what a 'real' interracial couple is, I think you'll be finding the issues more than the people here.

You probably have no real knowledge and exposure to Mississippi, except the narrative you are given in movies and television, so I can understand your concern. I think you will be fine. Interracial couples are accepted here, but we don't live in a perfect world. You may still find racism just like anywhere else, especially if you look for it. The Delta (stagnant, least educated area that brings down our stats) is a little different in that regard, but for the most part, North and South MS you won't have any issues.

The city of Biloxi, at least, is probably the most socially tolerant-to-liberal area of the state; and maybe nearby Bay St. Louis too. It's probably the "least Mississippi" of any place in Mississippi. But fair warning: If you're expecting super-libertine city, you'll be sorely disappointed (that's what New Orleans is for in that area). But if you have liberal beliefs and don't want to hide them, and simply want live-and-let-live, you'll do fine there (But I think being hyper-activist in-your-face would cross the line, though - again, that's what New Orleans is for in that area).
