OP should stay in Nebraska if he's that worried. And I don't care if I offend anyone online. We don't know each other and never will.

Maybe there are black people who are "racist against whites" in Nebraska and he needs to get out.

LOL!

I'll ask my buddy who was in Boulder for the Colorado Nebraska game, and is a Nebraska grad, if Nebraska black people are holding the white people hostage.

That would be a little tricky, since only 4% of Nebraskans are Black.

well based on the times I was in Nebraska and locals always asked me how I dealt with so many blacks in MS, i'd say the op is probably the racist party. In my travels I've seen far more white racists above the Mason/Dixon as well as West of the MS river.

But as far as "reverse racism" goes, it does not exist. racism is racism, PERIOD. try living in the Delta where whites are the minority. No you may not see organized lynchings, but yes black on white crime occurs daily and much of it is based purely on race. The difference is because it is 1 person instead of a group no one equates it to the mobs of old. but the principle is the same. makes no difference if you are hung or crosses burned in your yards, violence against another based on their race is racism.

Who are all these black racists you're worrying about, and what impact are they having in your life?
Wow, this was ignorant.

OP - please don't base your perception of coastal MS on social media (as you referenced). Coastal MS tends to be much more mellow on these type of issues and you won't have any more problem than anywhere else in the country. Perhaps less so.

Newflash for participants in this thread: The OP is very specific in his question. If you don't or haven't lived in MS, then the thread is probably not for you.

Thank you.

It only took two pages to get two or three answers that actually made sense.
