Homeowners Insurance in Gautier (Biloxi, Ocean Springs: houses, to live in, moving)

Hey Everybody,

I used to live in Ocean Springs, love the Coast and plan on moving back in a couple years. Trying to get a ballpark idea of what to expect for homeowners insurance in Gautier. Looking at houses in the Hickory Hills area, which is north of I-10 & around 150k. I remember huge homeowner insurance bills and other than a couple months a year of extreme heat, that was the only downside. Thanks in advance for any replies.

If no one replies here, I recommend taking to Facebook and searching for a "Let's talk Gauiter," type group, join it and ask the question there, also local realtors will usually have a good idea.

I have a friend who lives on the Biloxi River south of I-10, but has a home that is elevated above whatever the magic number is and says her homeowners insurance is reasonable.
