Will be doing a road/camping trip through the state (north-south) late March and looking for recommendations for some of the best natural areas and/or camping areas. Remote/few people is preferable. Thanks in advance.

Your best source of information is likely to go on FB and join the MS hiking and backpacking pages. The best scenery in the state is in the north east corner near Pickwick Lake.
