Good news.
But most of the locations mentioned are in NW Mississippi, next to Memphis.

No surprise there. Logistics mostly implies trucking and transport, Memphis has one of the largest intermodal container transfer ports in the eastern US, for the same reason Fed Ex uses Memphis as its hub airport and distribution center. Memphis area is near the population center of the eastern USA. Both the rail transfer port and Memphis airport are just a few miles north of Olive Branch, MS. If you drive on highway 78 it is one warehouse & trucking company after another in the area of the TN-MS state line.

How huge would it be for someone like Amazon to locate a major air distribution hub at Jackson-Evers. I mean the airport has 2 runways and a TON of vacant cargo/distribution space (well, some of it is filled up with MEMA since COVID started but still plenty).

Of course they have the airport lawsuit to contend with lulzzzzz but this could be Amazon's chance to show how progressive they are and that they want to work with the CITY OF JACKSON!!!!!

That won't happen anytime soon. Jackson is too close to Memphis and Atlanta airports but they could in the future. I thin Jxn airport would need to expand and that lawsuit doesn't help.
