What are your main likes/dislikes about living in Mississippi

No activities for kids/Adults
Casinos/Condos taking over

Likes

None. After 30 yrs I can say I don't like the area

1) Weather
2) Great People
3) Great Food
4) Bible belt
5) Grass, trees, deer, hunting, fishing (LOL)

Dislikes:

1) Racial Steering
2) Rebel Flags
3) Large Mosquitoes
4) Spoiled rich farmer kid brats
5) Not so great public schools or private schools

DISLIKES:
1) foundation problems- you cannot get into a home without foundation problems or having future foundation problems.
2) wood roaches
3) people who don't like to work and expect things to be handed to them or cheat the system and make it hard for the REAL people who need the system.
4) never saw real crackheads(only on tv) until i came here or the really friendly "girls"....
5) afraid to GO ANYWHERE and not be mugged
6) no respect for other's property(people tearing up/breaking into other's homes/vehicles)
7) dirty
8) animal cruelty
9) HIGH property taxes, even if your house is not worth very much!
10) people down here have the attitude that you owe them....
11) i HARDLY see rednecks!!!

to be honest with you, i haven't found any likes...i live about 30 min away from jackson, moved down here 3 years ago from north alabama(it is a BIG difference!!)

Hi Tana,
I am wondering where you golf for $20 for nine holes?? I would be interested, I am moving back to Waveland MS and one of the things I am going to miss is the ability to afford to play Golf.
