That's what a lot of people are hoping. Over in the adoption forum, there's a predatory poster who thinks the Indian Child Welfare Act should be eradicated (cause they think it's about race and don't even understand blood quantum or white washing of the culture), it's like checkmate for that type of person. For now, though since 2016, anti-choice doesn't know what they don't know. If the Janes of Chicago pre Roe can provide abotion care, likely the Indigenous Nations can as well.

Yes, be prepared for Mississippi’s poverty rate to climb.

You're implying that we ought to kill off the "undesirables" in order to keep the poverty rate low?

This a nice idea. Apart from the abortion issue, I think it would be great if the Indian tribes became known for things like health clinics instead of casinos.

Their chance for revenge on the white man by becoming the baby butchers of choice?

Mississippi Choctaws are not as liberal as people may think.

I don't have strong feelings either way on this issue, but find it ironic that the legal action that got RvW overturned was filed by the Jxn Abortion Clinic (Jackson Women's Health Organization). Talk about unintended consequences.

The clinic performed abortions up to 17 weeks, the state passed a law limiting abortions to 15 weeks. The clinic sued over an issue that affected a very small number of people. The matter eventually ended up before SCOTUS....

Do have a source for this? Because it really isn't likely. The legalities involving sovereignty are way more complex than you think, and they vary by state. In Oklahoma, for instance, a white person who commits an act that's illegal under state statutes can be prosecuted by the state even if the act occurred on tribal land. In other states, such as California, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana, and Alaska, the state does indeed have jurisdiction over criminal law.

It is not about being unwanted. If someone does not want to carry a baby to term--how do you force that on someone? You have tunnel vision to think every woman can go home and tell someone they are pregnant and everything is going to be daisies and roses.
