You can view real estate for sale in Yazoo and Madison counties here. After clicking on the link, click on search and enter your search criteria. Holmes county is not on here.

If you click City-Data.com at the top left of the page you can click through to most any area in any state - I believe the stats were updated to 7/2007 just a month or so ago. Hope that helps!

When I was looking for houses I looked in Pickens. I didn't like the feel of the area. It didn't look up and coming. Unless you have to live there I wouldn't. There are nice ares close by. I can't tell you about Yazoo. Never Been there.
Do you have to go to that area for a job or something?

Pickens is an area that was a big farming area and then through the 70's and 80's started dieing. In the past 5-6 years it has slowly been growing based on growth out of Jackson/Madison/Gluckstadt and the development of the Nissian Autoplant in Canton. Pickens is approx 3 miles from I-55. There are plenty of great houses for sale in the area as most of the 25-45 age range left and is slowly moving back. crime is still low with the majority being alcohol related at individuals houses. hope this helps
