Hello, I have a quick question. I am looking for fun places like amusement & theme parks in MS? I want to visit the Biloxi area, but how is it since Katrina?

No real amusement parks. The Beau Rivage casino is open again in Biloxi and is nice.

Um no, they would be in Atlanta....

I mean the Mississippi Braves, the AA farm team of Atlanta. The park is nice, and its fairly cheap entertainment for kids.

What part of Mississippi Are you visiting?

Gulfport has a Nice Water park just off 49.. the Beach has some jet ski rentals and paddle boats out there now.. Casinos are not for kids.. not in Mississippi anyways. Biloxi and Gulfport are still cleaning up, but its a lot nicer here now than it has been.. and its getting better daily. Ship Island and Cat Island tours are operating.. and that can be fun.. just make sure to take drinks and food with you.. the water on the far side of the island is crystal blue.. and Dolphins are known to jump along side the boat on the trip out.

I've only been here a couple weeks now.. so I am still learning all the fun things to do here.. have a good trip and please come out and check out the MS gulf coast. Oh there is also the Space center out this way.. they have tours.. maybe check that out.

Thanks for all the good info. I am not a BIG water park fan, but I see there is an abundance of choices for those who do enjoy them. I'm more of a thrill ride guy myself.
