I got a job in biloxi,
how does schools there for elementary kids.
I am an indian, I do not know how many more indians there in biloxi, of course i like multicultural, My parents live with me time to time, so they feel homely if they have same language speaking people around, so i would like to know any indian population, or any specific area indians are integrated in biloxi.
I respect all cultures, the reason I feel for my parents is they can not speak english, I thought if I can find a place where indians might live in biloxi, might help my parents little better.
so please help me find a contact person in biloxi who might know the answer.
Thank you.
.

Biloxi, MS? You may have posted in the wrong state, unless there is all of the sudden a Biloxi, MN that I have never heard of!

I grew up next to Biloxi (Long Beach) but moved away long ago. However, I have been back many times, and there is a relatively big Indian community there -- or at least there was before Katrina. In all of the Deep South, many Indians run most of the modest independent motels. This was the case all along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and I would imagine that many of the Indian residents are still there, even if they have moved on to other professions.

Oh sorry, didn't realize you meant "Indian Indian" - not "Native American Indian." I don't live on the coast but I travel a bit and I live in a very small town and even here the Patel family runs one of our hotels and the Subway. When we went to the flea market in Wren (another very small town) we again stayed in a hotel owned by a Mrs. Patel.

I honestly don't know how many more Indians there are in the area - I never see them in the grocery store or anywhere else... but I don't recall seeing the Korean folks from the nail salons in any other stores, either, so maybe I just don't get out enough.
