Don't trip, I don't work for any car plant...but that is what our local news paper said. We have just as many jobs lost as you have empty plants. Our jobs lost is in the Technology field...with just as much devastation as your empty car plants. I didn't barge into anything, I just simply made a comment about news that our paper stated might or might not happen. Thank you for enlightening me on what is really going on.

No applications is being accepted the office at the center for ideas is closed for now.
Keep checking the TOYOTA website for future messages.
It will take about 1 to 2 years to get up and running once the equipment is in place.
NO equipment is in place as of today.
Thank you

It seems that you're pretty upset about this. May I ask why?

It's interesting to me that what was seen as a "slam dunk" just a year ago is, today, an empty building surrounded by question marks. I feel sorry for all the people who got their hopes up for employment there, and do hope that it eventually sorts itself out!!!

"the news just said"

If someone got wind of an announcement early we would hear something the next day here. I have been curious as well as to what Toyota's plans are for the near completed plant in Blue Springs. Great part of the country that could use the economic boost that it would bring to produce automobiles there.

There certainly is roadwork going on as far as the interchange on US78/I-22 that will feed the plant. But as far as inside of the plant can't answer.
