Hey ya'll!

I'm a nursing student around Richmond, VA. After college I'd like to move deeper into the South and Mississippi is one of my options. I have no clue what town though. Any suggestions?

Requirements
1. Not a city...more of a small town - friendly people, feel.

2. Good churches not too far. I'm Southern Baptist if that helps.

3. Good job opportunities in the Nursing/Health industry.

4. If the area had a high teen pregnancy rate, this would be awesome. I want to open my own Christian teen pregnancy center and I want to be a blessing to the area I move to.

5. Doesn't matter where as far as location goes...beach, mountains, ect.

Thanks so much!

**DISCLAIMER** - What I mean by 'if the area had a high teen pregnancy rate, this would be awesome', is that it would be beneficial for me to move to an area that has this. I do NOT mean that teen pregnancy is 'awesome'! Theres no point in moving to an area that doesn't need my services. I wanted to clear this up before I am attacked again on a forum when I've made it clear I want to open a Christian teen pregnancy center. Christians don't believe in unwed teen pregnancy....

Consider Tupelo, in NE Mississippi.
North MS Medical Center is a huge facility, so you wouldn't have any trouble finding work, and Harrisburg Baptist Church in probably the most prominent church in town.
North Mississippi Medical Center :: Home

Harrisburg Baptist Church | Tupelo, MS

Tupelo is a good suggestion and meets your criteria of good medical facilities and a friendly atmosphere. Of course friendly small towns with Baptist churches describes virtually all of Mississippi. A few other suggestions would be Brookhaven, Natchez, Vicksburg, Meridian, Columbus, Starkville, Corinth, and Laurel all fit your description well (small but big enough to have a sizeable hospital in the area). If you want extremely high teen pregnancy rates go for Cleveland, a nice little college town in an area of very high teen birth rates.
