We love food and are always on the lookout for the best restaurants. I would love to get some recommendations for restaurants in Gautier or nearby Pascagoula. We love all types of foods, but are especially interested in finding the following cuisines:

Southern-Style Cooking
Diner Fare
Great Steak Houses
Vietnamese
Thai
Japanese/Sushi
Authentic Creole/Cajun
Seafood
Mexican
Indian
The Best Oyster Bar
Tearoom Fare
Bakery/Pastries
Any Unusual Restaurant Atmospheres/Foods

The most convenient locations would be Gautier and Pascagoula, but we would be interested in ANY surrounding area restaurant as long as it's worth the drive. Thanks so much!

Can't help you for Gautier or Pascagola

In Ocean Springs
Phoenica for Mediterreon
The Shed for BBQ and blues
Copones for Italian
Hartz for home cooking.
The best bargain on the coast for food is The Beau Rivage buffett
Most of the Casinos offer coupons and they are sometimes bargains.

There are only two in Pascagoula/Gautier that I would recommend.

Petis Bois Cafe - seafood, good salads, sandwiches
La Fiesta Brava - I recommend the enchiladas a la brava

Ocean Springs:
The Shed
Capone's- make a reservation, trust me
For the greatest sushi on the coast, go to Chef Scott's sushi bar next to Lovelace in downtown OS (not to be confused with Chef Scott's Noodle House).

If I could only eat at one place, I would go to Chef Scotts, hands down.

GautierCitizen (I have lived in Gautier over 60 years)
The Petis Bois Cafe in Gautier, Ms closed. Someone else is preparing to reopen in the same building. I don't know who, or what they will specialize in.

A new Mexican restaurant located on Hwy 90 downtown, is now the most popular in Gautier, Ms. I have not eaten there yet. It is named the "Aztec". They opened in Jan. 2013. The parking lot is always full (no parking spot left).

There will be several new eating establishments coming to the remodeled Singing River Mall.

I personally like the "Country Gentleman" restaurant located on Gautier/Vancleave Road.

I like The Country Gentlemen as well. I personally wouldn't go back to The Shed, but it's not in Gautier/Pascagoula, either.

In Gautier there is Hucks Cove (great place to go when the weather is nice and dine outside. They even have fried gator tails! Lol) the Tiki Resturaunt is good also and overlooks the water. Country Gentlemen. La Fiesta is in both Gautier and Pascagoula, personally I prefer San Miguel's a few miles away in Moss Point, better food and great drinks.
In Pascagoula I've heard Paradise Grill (variety food) and Jacks by the Tracks (sushi) is very good.
Here are some other good resturaunts in Goula
Cornerstone (variety)
Big R's (buffet at night but also can order from menu, great steak burgers)
Yomatos (sushi, Japanese food)
Bozo's (seafood store but also have the deli, amazing shrimp poboys)
Ed's Drive Inn (best chili cheeseburgers around)
Scranton's (never been here but heard its good)
The Annex (this place has been around a long time, great food. They are only open from 6-2 during the week though and 7(?)-12 on Saturday.

Oh I forgot Aztecas in Gautier as someone said above. I haven't ate there yet but they are owned by the same people who own San Miguel's in Moss Point.
