Hello,

I found an apartment in Starkville, MS called The Links. It looks nice online, but I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on this apartment place and if they know if it is in a nice and safe location of Starkville?

I don't know anything about the apartments specifically, but I remember when that entire area was wooded, vacant land. So sad to see everything ripped down. Anyway, when I lived in the area, that area was very, very safe.

Yes, these apartments are very nice. It's on the outskirts of town. The area just past these apartments is wooded. Just across the highway is Wal-Mart so it's definitely convenient. There really is no unsafe area in Starkville. The most interesting parts of town are the downtain Main Street, the Cotton District (lots of apartments, very unique, near the university), and the nice residential areas down South Montgomery Street. On campus is a gorgeous Barnes and Noble bookstore in a unique building, right beside the football stadium. For shopping, there is also Columbus which is only 20 minutes away.
