What is there to do for fun in starkville? For example, movie theater, etc. What do people usually do?

It's a college town, so lots of bars and live music venues. There's a bowling alley and a movie theater that are nice. The university has lots of events throughout the year, from sporting events to cultural events. If you're into outdoors, the Refuge makes for a nice day trip. There are some good restaurants there as well.

Jacksonian pretty much summed it up. There are a lot of activities involving alcohol and, separately of course, church. Food, drink, "fellowship" and university activities (i.e. games, music & theatre, art, etc.).

I will sum it up by saying this:

Starkville has a bowling alley and a movie theater.

Go Greek and you will have a great time. I cannot imagine living up there if I hadn't.

I lived there for years. Maybe it's because I had amazing friends, but we had an absolute blast. I'm really not sure what you were expecting that you didn't find. Oh, and I was NOT Greek.
