Diversity obviously does not automatically mean black people. I was merely sharing my personal viewpoint. Montana is the whitest and least diverse place I've ever lived and while I don't like that, neither do I rail against it. It just is. Missoula is the most diverse town in Montana so there is no "like Missoula but more diverse" in Montana.

If Anchorage seems like it would be too cold, you may want to X Montana off your list although we live in a very mild micro climate area and our valley has a little town that is most likely more diverse than Zootown.

If you want to live in Montana there are pockets with a tiny bit of racial diversity such as Missoula (Zootown).

Monte Turner (a local TV news guy) once said on the air that ---
"Hot Springs is just a territory of the state of Missoula" !

"Obviously" it doesn't, but that is what you said in your reply and "obviously" black people were the first group of people that came into your mind when you heard the word "diversity". I can only go by what you wrote in your post. For the record though, I now understand the point you were making.

Thanks. Sorry I was not more clear in my first reply.
