What can you tell me about Chinook?
Regarding the current demographics: age and livability concerns for an active Senior on a fixed income.

I travel across the Hi-Line frequently and have some friends in Chinook. They seem to like it there-they are still raising their
families, and are originally from the area, working in the oilfield north of town or multi-generation ranch family. They seem to like it. Otherwise, I've only stopped for gas and grub at Town Pump or Coop. Chinook is Blaine County, not far from the
larger town of Havre, and a chunk of Blaine County is taken up by the Fort Belknap reservation about 20 miles east of town.

For some reason, I like the feel of Chester better. Chester is smaller and further west on the Hi-Line. I notice driving thru
that they have some Senior program stuff. Havre has the most to offer. Glasgow would be another town I would consider
on the Hi-Line. Going across in winter, it has been usually dry road, but once in a while, some snowpack. Gets cold in the
winter, though-sometimes below zero when I have stayed overnight in Havre.

PS-you posted in the Missoula subforum, but Chinook is a long ways from Missoula.
