We have recently moved to Missoula. We have had trouble finding a dentist for our family. Our first two attempts weren't very successful and we were disappointed in the service or offices. We don't have any particular needs, other than wanting someone who is well trained, friendly and does good work. We have had a few experiences with local dentists who have recommended unnecessary surgery for our children. We declined and nature took care of their simple issues in a matter of months. Does anyone out there have a line on a good, honest dentist? Thanks very much in advance.

Check out Dr. Ike Heaphy at 543-8347. He's been our dentist for about 5 years after he purchased the practice from a retiree. He's the best dentist I've ever had and the whole office clicks. Young guy who is incredibly fast and efficient.

Good luck.

Dr. Ron Rosser at 543-3159 in Missoula is a perfectionist, which is what you want in someone who works on your mouth! Very professional, super clean and efficient office, nice personnel. Susan, the hygienist is wonderful, too. Gloria the receptionist is friendly and helpful. I have grown children who visit Dr. Rosser also and they love him! (High praise...) He took over an old established practice from a local legend who retired.

Long time lurker here. I love this forum, it was soooo helpuful during my families recent move. We found a pediatric dentist for our girls that we really love. Dr. Joe Hylton is absolutely great with kids. Our youngest needed quite a bit of work done, but had a horrible experience with our last dentist and was already freaked out. He was very patient and friendly and got all her work done in a couple of easy visits. We found him through his website www.missoulakidsdentist.com. Not sure what the phone number is.

Thanks again for everyone's great advise. Thought I would start giving back.

Marie

Default Hard to beat the Mall.

The dentists in the Southgate Mall are pretty hard to beat. Cutting edge office and they are open in the evenings and Saturdays. Nice folks. Check them out at MTSmiles.com.
