I am looking for a country home to rent in southwest Missouri. I would like to be south and west of Ava. The Forsyth, Kissee Mills, Walnut Shade area would be great! It would be my sister and myself while we look for a place to buy in the country with some aceage. We are smokers and have a very well behaved inside dog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have been using all the below internet search engines and have only been able to find a few places we like. It has been very frustrating and you can spend days just searching for properties.

You can camp at Mo. Conservation areas for free and stay 14 days. Some are primitive at best but Free!

I got on the Springfield Craigs List but about 90% were people looking to rent. I was just down there for two weeks and it is pretty hard to find anything to rent. I ended up renting a really nice cabin on a dude ranch. Still looking for a nice place in the country! Wish me luck!
