I paid $2.06 today when I filled up my truck to full at Conoco at Battlefield near S. Campbell Ave, though I passed a gas station minutes before at Grant and Kansas City Expressway where it was $2.05.

Phoenix by my house is $2.29. How said that we think that's low for gas. I remember paying 44 cents when I started driving, won't say how long ago that was....

Well, I remember buying premium gas for 32 cents a gallon. I used to fill up my car (20 gallons) for $6.50. Of course, I was working part time for $1.90 and hour. I also remember when there were 4 different gas stations (not 7-11 type) at major intersections and they would have "Gas Wars" where you could get gas for 16 cents a gallon. This was way back in 1970 in S. California. Oh yeah, many stations used to give away prizes, like glassware, if you bought 8 gallons or more.

The prices of gas in Orem, UT were 2.89 until about a week and a half ago when they started to complain on the news that we were as high as CA. Now it's about 2.63.

Today in central Missouri I saw the sign that said $2.09.
This was interesting to read the changing prices and locations.
