There are no threads within the Missouri forum regarding the egregious comments made by this senator. I am one who would like the good people of MO to send this man a message - and send him packing. The comments he made have no place in a country which considers itself to be educated and enlightened. One would expect to hear such comments from a mullah, not a United States Senator.

Please, Missouri voters, show the rest of the country your mettle and ditch this guy. You deserve better.

When you say that we deserve better, do I assume you mean somebody like Charlie Rangel, one of your illustrious New York Congressmen? Or Michael Bloomberg, the guy who wants to start actual food police? I'll take Akin (at least spell his name correctly) any day over those goofballs.

We'll see on election day if the people of Missouri can be counted on to not vote in a complete psychopath to our Senate.

And I foolishly thought Rush Limbaugh was a low as humanity could go. As a non-partisan, I'll be voting DEM on every level. MO needs to kick out these radical theocrats. It's embarrassing to be from MO lately. We really need to donate the lower 3rd of MO to Arkansas.

I'm as conservative as they come, and was looking forward to replacing McCaskill, but Aiken has really stepped in it this time. If he remains on the ballot, I will just have to skip voting on the Senate race. He needs to step down now. We're only two weeks past the primary. Whoever takes his place will not have lost much time.

If we do that, can we give Illinois and Kansas their respective other halves of St. Louis and Kansas City?

Ha, Aikin seems to be pulling a Brownback, acting like an ignorant theocrat! It must be something in the water or the heat must be frying the brains of politicians.
