It had to happen. If this were to pass, which it won't, a whole bunch of responsible gun owners and sports shooters could find themselves being considered Class C felons. The illness is spreading.

I hate political grandstanding and have no respect for sheeple.

How pathetic. I wonder who actually believes that this would be a viable solution to stopping gun violence?

Let's hope that the people we have voted to put in office in State legislature upholds our second amendment rights and puts this bill right in the garbage where it belongs.

This is the way things are heading. I wouldn't be surprised if post like these are read and noted by officials. Think how fast things have developed in the last 4 years. Think ahead to how fast things will accelerate from here on.

Well if they are readings these posts I am happy to take this moment
to tell them to leave my guns alone.

Missouri politicians know they are in a world of hurt if they
take on the gun crowd in Missouri. There are too many of us to
overcome.

This is just posturing and will fail. However it is important to voice your
opinion and Ruger has made it easy.

Fill out the form at this link Ruger will mail it for you. I've been getting e-mails
from the politicians acknowledging receipt so I know they are getting the mail.

Thanks for the link. My Ruger Mini-14 "assault rifle" feels better already! They can all leave my guns alone as well.

I do not believe Missouri folks are going to let a law like this pass.

I took time to email each of the people on this sponsor list. Rochelle Gray
responded with a semi coherent note. You would think our legislators would be
able to form proper sentences.

The Missouri House does have a Republican Speaker and will not move this bill though, this bill has no chance of passing and becoming law, none.

To clarify I DID NOT draft, nor did I file this Bill. I have absolutely NO control of that Bill, but, I did ask the sponsor to please withdraw the bill. We (legislators) do have a RIGHT support people, our colleagues, interests and bills!! MY constituents and myself, in the wake of the various shootings throughout the country, would like to see our gun laws reviewed. That's all. Legislation is a means, for open discussion and debate. Filing a bill never means that the bill will be heard and voted upon, in fact, that rarely happens. However, I have a duty to my residents AND a right to support or not support legislation, that MAY or MAY NOT pass.

I am reminded of a line from the movie Robin Hood "You stirred up a bloody hornets nest now!"
