Hi I just wanted to share with you all the pleasures of floating on the Current. It is super clean, plenty of camping and hiking, and nearly overlooked from tourists. We find this to be a great outdoor vacation spot, that is still very small town and quiet.

I was hoping to keep this great place a secret, "but ya went and ruined it."
We just closed on a house in Van Buren. It is right on the river. We expect to move there at the end of Feb. It is really hard not to pickup and leave now but we need to be patient.
My family used to own a cabin on the Current between Grandin and Doniphan. So I grew up on this river.

My grandmother still lives there and my mother grew up there. Spent lots of time on the Current River in my youth.
