My wife talked to a lady just a while ago and she is going to fax a lease for us to sign tomorrow.

We will be Missouri bound at the end of February! I'm walking on air right now!! There will be things here that I miss, but none will make me miss it like I miss Missouri! I'd rather live in Missouri and visit Colorado every year instead of the other way around!

Hopefully we will be able to meet some of you great folks from this forum!

YAHOO!!!

Congrats! That's great news!

Are you going to St. Joe? I can't remember but I do know your Raider gear will be very
popular on the West side of the state. Those KC fans love Raiderfan...

Affirmative on that. We need to make sure you're worthy though.

Repeat after me.

"I, <state your name>, have two favorite teams. The Chiefs and whoever beats the Raiders."

There seems to be an unusual number of Raiders fans in KC. I think some of them do it just make the natives mad. Why else would you be a Raiders fan?

Just kidding.

Welcome.

I do find it funny that the most popular baseball team in the state is from St. Louis and the Chiefs (who I believe are more popular in the state than the Rams) are from Kansas City.

Either we really like the color Red, or we just go for whoever has been around the longest. If the latter is the case, I feel sorry for whatever (if ever) hockey team makes it into the Sprint Center. If KC gets a NBA team, however, we'll own the state on that one.
As for baseball, I like the color Blue .

That is just fabulous news! I'm trying to suppress a little jealousy by trying to keep faith that we'll get moved to Missouri ourselves according to God's timing and will. It's going to happen, and I would have to think sometime later this year. We've had our house up for sale since November, and nothing is happening thus far.

St. Joseph, someone said? Please let me and the rest of us know if that's where you're headed! My wife and I have been jonesing to get moved there or to the immediate vicinity for a year now. Enough about me, though. The best is yet to come for you, of that I'm certain!

Speaking of red, the Cardinals Winter Warmup just went off and the Blues pregame is coming on now with the game at 9:30 on FSN Midwest.

One of my KC friends used to complain about Royals games not being televised. I think every Cardinal game is televised, but probably only 50-60 of the Blues games.
