Per da jammer's urging, here's a new thread devoted to making fearless predictions on what the final outcome of Saturday's (12/1) Big 12 championship football game between the

and the Oklahoma Sooners will be. I think it's going to be a pretty high-scoring affair, and despite the Tigers being three-point underdogs, I nevertheless predict: (big snare drum crescendo!!!!)

Mizzou 45, Oklahoma 35!
Ta-da!!!! (B-flat major chord, fortissimo).

Your Missouri Tigers... 38

OU Sooners....28

Chase wins the Heisman based on a 362 yard, 4 TD day. J Mac brings one to the house on either a kick off or punt return.

Make it happen boys!!!

Go Mizzou!!!!

Cheers fur the Tigers!!!

/however, Hobbes is quite grumpled, as can not find a friggin' station in the area here that will carry THE game... even ESPN360.com is showing some other idiotic games even tho' ESPN - Oklahoma Sooners vs. Missouri Tigers Preview, December 1 2007 - NCAA College Football says our boys will be shown on that AND on ABC, yet the local ABC affiliates here are 'casting OR vs CA... which they ain't even playing tonight, according to NCAA Football - Scores & Schedule - Yahoo! Sports I hate not being able to find the info, or finding conflicting crap, or not being able to watch the game at all... And then yahoo tells me "In order to use the college football GameChannel, users will need Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher and a Windows operating system. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you can check out the box score for your game instead." GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

OK - silly furgetfull me , brought home my work laptop, and its a Dell, with WinXP, so... Hopefully now can get Yahoo to cooperate too...

Jammer, I drink an extra one for ya

btw, final score:
Looners: 36
Striped Ones: 42

Interesting that this game has the closest predictions of who the winner will be that I've seen of all the others so far...
Nevertheless, it is so gosh durn wonderful to have Mizzou ranked #1, and to be in this position - so, win or lose... YEA!!!

ok,,, I am now VERY extremely upsetted worser!!!

Boot up this gettin a Dell laptop, and go to Yahoo account, nav over into the 'college broadcast' section, frown at the part says gotta pay for it and its only audio! , contemplates that such is cheaper than the gas and bar beers, esp w/ the snow and freezin rain precipitating upon the area, so get ready to send my Discover over the 'net, and then,,, in print at the bottom, my wandering eyes see... "Coverage does not include bowl games, NCAA tourny games, or any other post-season games that Hobbes is really wantin to see" So, looks like only hope is that local ABC affiliate will show the game, even tho' their... wait!!! ... Just checked a different site, and it says that ABC is showing the MO-OK game 'nationwide'! 40 minutes to kick off baby!!!

btw, EA Sports game sim claims OK 34, MO 31... We'll see about that!

For those that may be foolishly reading this goofy saga, THE GAME IS ON!!! YEAAAAAAA!!! So, have some of my MO deer sausage, Razz-Wheat bear from the Oaken Barrel Brewing Co., and little tyke by my side, as we watch the Looners kick off to our boys! GOOOOOOOOO Tigers!!!
