Loved the St. Charles Rock Road. Especially the part about not wanting to use their bikes much because the bike you went home with was usually not the one you left home with.

Fenton,Missouri has been inhabited for over 900 years. The earliest proof of ancient dwellers was excavated from the "Fenton Mounds", two conical, earthen burial mounds located near the southwestern border of Fenton. Pottery shards indicate they date from the Mississippian times, A.D. 1050-1400. In 2001 the mounds were leveled for construction of a Wal-Mart Supercenter.

Malta Bend,in Saline County Missouri, was named for the steamer "Malta" which was sunk in a bend of the Missouri River 3 miles from the city.

Actually, it is a water tower painted to look like an eight ball. It had gotten painted over but the residents bitched that they wanted their eight ball back so it got painted again.
