I called about a young lady to adopted from Kansas City but you have to go through 4 months of classes then you can adopted some of these kids. You have to deal with the Social Service in your area.

we were talking adoption when our son announced his gf was pg while they were still in school.......... I always wanted a big family ..lots of pitter patter on the floor!

Part of me sulks wanting more but I have 3 special grandsons who will need us for now ..who knows maybe someday!

4 months to be a foster parent or a adoptive parent?

I wonder if you get full medical back ground on adopting? hmmm

A friend of mine and his wife became foster parents and within two days they had two siblings. They adopted and there was full disclosure about the past medical histories. They are thrilled with the kids!

how long did it take for the adoption .. wait they adopted foster kids .......... to adopt that fast it would had to be the parents gave up fool parental or were forced too.

I have all the clearances already - and am mandated reporter.

Made a call. They say they were in the foster/adopt program. About 6 mos a foster parents and then about 1&1/2 yrs to complete the adoption. The parents were forced to give them up. Can't really divulge much more other than the kids now have great parents. Very lucky kids IMO

Did they have to go through classes in order to be foster parents? I need to contact my social service in my area to find out what. I talked tothe lady in Kansas City and recommend I talk to someone in my area.

They went thru some classes. What classes and how long i don't know.
