But seriously, lots of rural towns in Missouri have old general stores just like this still standing. There is one in the town where my dad grew up and one in the town where my husband's mom grew up.

It's not LOL when I read that I thought the same thing That area is actually covered by the Springfield media. It's south centeral Missouri....almost southwest Missouri.
