Looks like powdered sugar here in the Ozark area, MamaG! Well, it LOOKED like it...'s'all gone now! What a trip to realize that Springfield got 8 inches and it's just 15 miles away!

MrG used my 4x4 to go to work in Springfield today. He said the 65 and 60 were a breeze and when he turned off onto National, it was slushy but not bad. He put it in 4-wheel drive just to be sure, since he had other smaller streets to go before arriving at his destination. He was the first one on the job and said it was a breeze to go up the driveway so he's a happy camper 'cause he gets to still go to work and make money!

By the way, that looks a lot like his Chevy Stepside Truck!

Woohoo.... We didn't get anything here. In fact it got up to 48 degrees yesterday! I was amazed by all the snow they showed on the news for the other areas. What a strange storm that was.

By now I'm sure most of you are aware of the severe weather happening and also forecast for most of Missouri. Tornado warnings in the SW esp. and strong winds . If you haven't checked with your local weather stations, you might want to immediately.

Looks like a nasty day out there for you all. Stay dry, stay safe!

Sorry Northwoods, in my desire to wish you all well I became the last post that everybody reads, when your post is so important. So here it is again:

Yes, strong winds here in east central MO. Heavy rains and possible hail on the way. Everyone just needs to be aware. OK has had tornadoes this a.m. they do travel SW to NE. Stay up to date with this!

Hope everyone stayed safe. We had some very heavy rains and winds here near Ava. They were hit really hard in the Buffalo area. Had some looting yesterday after the storm passed but, after a curfew was put in place that stopped. Saw the damage on the news.

More bad weather on the way for the next couple days also! Let's pray it is not more violent storms.
